BRANDI SWEZEY - HEAD COACH

Brandi L. Swezey, former assistant coach of the Mount Joy Lions in 2002-04 and Head Coach for the 2007-08 seasons, will be returning this summer for the 2009 season. She is a graduate from East Stroudsburg University in both her B.S. in Athletic Training and her Masters in Exercise Science. Currently, she is attending a weekend program at Neumann College for her Doctorate in Physcial Therapy (DPT). Swezey has had a love for swimming since the early age of 8, where she started swim lessons at the Lancaster YMCA and went on to swim for Mountville Pools summer program. By the age of 13 Swezey began to swim for Trident Aquatic Club (TAC) and during her sophomore and junior year of high school she participated on Hempfield High Schools Varsity Swim Team. She is a certified Swim America Instructor, and has taught formal and private lessons since she was 14 years of age. Swezey is currently employed at Central PA Rehabilitation Services (CPRS) as an Athletic Trainer. She is contracted out to the Elizabethtown Area School District and serves as the High School and Middle School's Athletic Trainer on site. Coach Swezey is anxious to begin her 3rd season as the Lion's Head Coach and hope's to lead the team to another successful and fun season.

SARA KEENAN - ASSISTANT COACH

Sara Keenan, is currently a sophmore at Millersville majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. When she graduates she plans on heading toward the path that will lead her to be a physicians assistant. As of right now, she curently swims at Millersville and waitresses at Applebees. Sara has a lot of experience with coaching. Last summer she coached Golden Meadows swim team, and for the pat two years she has coahed the Marauder Aquatic team. Sara is from Delaware County and has swam on many teams throughout the Delaware Valley. She is every excited to work with the kids this summer and hope to have a successful winning 2009 summer season!
